Developed frontend code in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS using jQuery, jQuery UI, DataTables, and other JS libraries and components, and backend code in Java using Spring. Worked directly with UX and product management to turn an old wireframe into a complete prototype for a new, greatly simplified, and more intuitive version of a very complex form, and implemented most of the new page myself from the ground up. Worked with a co-worker on another team to add Babel to our JavaScript build process, allowing us to use modern (ES6+) JS features. Led an expansion of the team’s automated test infrastructure using Jenkins and TestCafe and wrote 60+ new tests. Helped lead the team’s transition from SVN to git and became the go-to git person on the team.
